Fujifilm X-A5 Review
Fujifilm recently announced the X-A5; The smallest and lightest mirrorless digital camera designed for early photographers in the company's entry-level X series The affordable mirror camera works on a new 24.2 MP aps-C CMOS sensor and provides a hybrid autofocus system for better contrast and phase detection mechanisms. You also get an updated processor which allows the original ISO ranges from 200 to 12,800. The compact mirrorless camera can fit the X-mount lens of Fujifilm into a kit with its rangefinder-style body and the Axc 15-45 mm F 3.5-5.6 x-mt zoom lens. There is a tilt-type touchscreen LCD screen that can rotate up to 180 degrees and can be used to catch themselves.
Price Rs. The 44,999 Fujifilm X-A5 comes with the signature twin control dial of Fujifilm and can also record up to 5 minutes of 4K / 15p video, yes only 15fps, which does not seem to be of any use but 4K blast feature is easy. In addition, the new compact mirrorless camera comes with better battery life and supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to share seamless photos between smart devices like smartphones, tablets and PCs. The camera manual comes with a pop-up flash and has a microSD card slot.
I personally believe that the new X-A5 smartphone is designed for generation, which wants a compact yet capable mirrorless shooter for everyday photography needs. By saying this, the specifications and feature lists of the new X-A5 are impressive, but what about the actual performance? Let's try to find it with the following review.

Design
The classic Fuji design, which is retro and yet very modern, the X-A5 can be quickly identified as the Fuji X series product, in which it is a timeless classic look for them. It's a stylish look for a well-designed compact retro mirror-free camera with aluminum-style and faux-leather accents. You just would like to take it everywhere because it is very compact and can easily fit into a small sling bag. In fact, this is the smallest camera with Fuji's X-Series product lineup, measuring 117x68x40mm and battery unit with 361g weight.Compact body rangefinder-style mirrorless camera is quite compact for good grip in hands. Even with bundle XC 15-45mm F 3.5-5.6 x-mt zoom lens, the camera is not too cumbersome for small hands. To present a firm hold, there is a wide curve on the face of the camera. While holding the camera in one hand you can click on the pictures, but X-A5 looks very safe and functional with two hands while shooting video or when you want to experiment with mode using mode dial. The body of the camera is made of reinforced plastic which feels like a metal and gives it a strong experience in the hands. The camera feels a bit heavier but not at the point where it can not be used on the stretch.
Four-way controllers are located near the LCD screen with media playback, quick menu, video recording, and other important buttons like display overlay / back. Mini HDMI and ISB socket on the right side of the camera are placed under plastic flaps. On the left is a flash button and a 2.5 mm mic socket. Below the camera is the housing for the battery and storage card (a MicroSD card slot). The only thing missing here is a viewfinder, which would have been very easy in outdoor shooting.
For maximum manual control, Chunky Control Dial top panel, which is a silver plate, dials regular Fuzzy Style mode which gives you full control over the various camera modes. This allows you to switch between SR + Auto mode, advanced filter, scene mode, state of dedicated view mode, and motion panorama. The mode dial feels very good click and there is good resistance in it. In addition, there is an on / off switch that is surrounded by shutter release button, a re-programmable function button and second dial support exposure compensation for ± 5 stops in 1/3 steps. Second control dial can be used to control aperture and shutter speed in different ways.
Low Light Qulaity
The low light display is not superb if the low luminous camera performance is not spectacular. There are seven basic ISO settings in the camera. The rating varies from ISO 200 to ISO 12,800 for JSIG and RAW files, thanks to the updated processor. You can bring the ISO in a good ISO 100 and scale up to impressive ISO 51,200, but only images can be captured in JPEG format. I set the camera on aperture priority to its best quality JPEG image settings to evaluate low-light performance. I was quite impressed to see that the sensor at X-A5 manages the level of noise very well. The noise is affected only on ISO 3200. Under this, noise levels are quite manageable. Low-light images are good and show enough details with the level of controlled noise.Fujifilm X-A5 Review |
Display
Touchscreen LCD display with 180 degree rotation If you were waiting for a compact mirrorless camera that can be used to capture itself, the X-A5 is one. It has a 3-inch LCD screen that tiles 180 degrees above the camera to help you capture yourself, which is a highlight feature of this camera because it is made for vlogging. Fujifilm also added a small slide mechanism to the plate to increase the display inclination reach on top of the camera's top plate for better view. When you rotate the LCD monitor 180 degrees, the eye detection AF function is automatically enabled. The screen falls to 45 degrees. You can use the touchscreen to enable touch AF, to zoom in on a subject, pinch-out to point zoom to zoom to point the touch shutter and pinch to zoom. If you are using a camera with a tripod or usually use your smartphone to capture images, the touch of autofocus will actually be easy. You can also use the touchscreen in media playback mode to pinch-capture and preview captured shots. The quality of the images produced by the 24.2 MP sensor on the camera display X-A5 is still impressive. Thanks to the compact mirrorless camera X-Series signature color reproduction technique, well-exposed pictures and images show pleasant color reproduction. The 24.2 megapixel sensor is also able to capture a wide range of colorful tones in a series of scenarios in auto mode. While shooting in low light, there is a small part of color noise but nothing is prominent that will be concerned with the initial ones.
Crystal crisp image output X-A5 generates very fast and clear images where exact details are very well-preserved. The sensor is capable of handling complex light and you always have manual control dials to control the image output. I was able to capture fast-looking images with the bundle lens in the kit. Camera portraits, macros and landscape perform well in photography. It is also good to capture indoor shots and it will be quite easy during family meetings and parties.
Bit inconsistent hybrid autofocus 24.2 MP aps-c sensor is equipped with a phase detection autofocus system, and a newly developed image processing engine, which is 1.5 times faster than the previous models in the series. It is notable that X-A5 is the first X-A series model that features phase detection pixels, originally developed for the X series' high-end model. If you are using the camera in the self mode then the stage identification mechanism holds the focus in the check. If you are moving very fast and there is uneven backlight in the background then focus only hits. In standard mode, autofocus feels slightly inconsistent. It works wonders in ideal conditions, but as I mentioned, if you are trying to shoot a fast-moving subject then you are a little lazy or you expect that the camera will react quickly, especially In less light than.
Video Recording
Video recording performance when it comes to video recording, Fujifilm X-A5 is a decent camera for everyday use. XD15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ bundle, the first electric-powered zoom lens for X-mount is very useful if you are shooting product video. It has been installed with a smooth electric-powered zooming system, which still starts at wide angle 23 mm end (on 35mm format) to give good control for both images and video. I was able to zoom in and zoom easily with constant rate; However, if you are shooting on the road and want to zoom in and out on a subject, then it can frustrate you. This is a manual zoom lens that takes its sweet time to work. Try panning and zooming at the same time and you can create some interesting video content. The camera can record in 4K, but it is not much used because the frame rate is limited to only 15fps and is limited to clip length of only five minutes; Although 4K explosion comes easy. I usually enter 1080p, which is available up to 60fps for 14 minute clips.Filters and Features
Filters and Features Like any other Fujifilm camera, the company has introduced various types of interesting methods and filters with your XP-A5 so that you can get the most out of your camera experience. X-A5 offers 11 variations of Fujifilm's unique movie simulation modes and new fogs and offers 17 variations of advanced filters, including HDR art. Modes and filters are easily accessible and if you are in vlogging then you can help you create some interesting content for your visitors.Battery life and connectivity X-A5 have long-lasting battery life. You can manage up to 450 450 shoots per battery charge. The battery can be fueled by placing the camera in easily with the microscope cable. As far as connectivity is concerned, you can use micro USB cable to transfer data or you can use Bluetooth Low Energy technology to transfer data wirelessly. You can add smartphones or tablet devices using the free smart-device app FUJIFILM camera remote. In addition, the X-A5Fujifil Instax Share is also compatible with the SP3 printer.
